Angela May is currently a K-6 Academic Intervention Teacher in the Holland Central School District. She provides professional development within district and through the Erie Catt Teacher Center. For the past ten years she has taught content in various elementary grades in New York State as well as in North Carolina. Angela has organized numerous after school STEAM groups and programs that inspire and enrich students.

This episode brings North America together! I had a great chance to connect with Jen Giffen from Canada. We talk about Edtech from a Canadian perspective. Jen really has a ton of resources and ideas about the present state of edtech, as well as future trends. Jen Giffen currently works as a Digital Literacy Resource Teacher with the York Region District School Board, just north of Toronto, ON.. She earned her B.Ed (I/S English and Mathematics) at Queen's University and her M.Ed (Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning) at OISE at the University of Toronto. She is a Sketchnoter, Google for Education Certified Trainer, and Apple Teacher. She has a keen interest in EdTech and is always looking for new tools to enhance the learning environment to engage students and increase critical thinking skills.
