This is the second part of my conversation with Kate. It's a continuation from the previous episode. So if you haven't listened to that, make sure that you do. In this episode Kate and I talk about all sorts of things from screen time, to breakfast and meal planning, to Mom worries, to math. Kate has 2 kids on their own, one in Sr. high, another in Jr. high, and two younger ones bringing up the rear. But Kate confesses she still doesn't know if she has found her stride in homeschooling yet. You'll have to listen to find out why.
With that, grab your favorite cup and listen in as I have coffee with a homeschool mom.
Micro-schooling? That was something that was new to me, so I had to ask Leah about it. What better way than to invite her over for coffee? What an enjoyable visit it was! Of course we visit about other things as well, including spelling, fostering children, and entertaining a toddler. I hope you find encouragement from our visit.

Joleen shares about a way to measure spiritual growth in your kids, co-ops, good resources and curriculum that she has found to be helpful for her family.
Abbi and I visit about a plethora of topics from letting go of our expectations for our families, to daily schedules, to life changes. Growing up Abbi had the homeschool experience that you read about in books and maybe even try to emulate. She had a rich homeschool education and brought that to her four children. It was an encouragement to me to visit with Abbi and hope you find it to be as well.
