Building relationships is a vital part of growing a successful business.  Yet, the motivation behind making these connections is the most important.  Great relationship builders are good at 3 things.  1- Asking questions 2-Active Listening 3-Finding a need and filling it.  Let's get to building!

When someone decides to put their trust and belief in you and in your business, it is up to you to make them feel secure in their decision.  Your actions, decisions and words make the difference.  How do we ensure we are building the right foundation?

The world's bank of confidence will always give you insufficient funds.  Just affirming, visualizing and practicing does not guarantee you will achieve confidence.  In addition, not living in your gift, ability or competence is why it is a challenge to gain confidence and success.  Let's talk about this!

The entrepreneur DNA is made up of 4 things:  Competence, Confidence, Credibility and Connections.  In this episode we talk about competence and why education, practice and focused determination are not necessarily the best methods to achieve it.

Proverbs 18:16 tells us that our gift will make room for us and bring us before great men.  Leaning into your strengths increases your opportunities.   Do you want more?  Increase the amount of time you spend on those things that you are good at and watch how God opens up doors for you! ♥

We all have used slang at one point or another. It makes you sound "cool, chill, dope"...  Using slang serves a social purpose and helps us to "fit in" to the crowd around us.  Yet, we are called to stand out.  The Lord thy God is one God!  Alleluia!  

Our habits shape us and determine the results we experience.  The world is full of well meaning mentors and coaches who share their thoughts on habits that create successful lives.  

However, there is only ONE valid habit that will deliver on the promise of success and prosperity.  It is found in Joshua 1:8.  "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." 

When we make this one habit a priority we will see change.  

Life right now is full of discouragement.  We have challenges and difficulties like never before.  Money issues, relationships, physical illness and physical mess and disorder are pushing us more into self.  1 Peter 2:11 (MSG) says, "Friends, this world is not your home, so don’t make yourselves cozy in it. Don’t indulge your ego at the expense of your soul. Live an exemplary life in your neighborhood so that your actions will refute their prejudices. Then they’ll be won over to God’s side and be there to join in the celebration when he arrives."  The way to fight discouragement is by encouraging others.  

For most of us there is a point when we look in the mirror and ask ourselves if what we are doing is "all there is".  In this episode I discuss the differences between a career/job and a calling/purpose.  Begin today to fully rely on God and discover your purpose!
