  • Lions, Hippos, & Gorillas... Oh My!

Life can feel a lot like a zoo for someone who is blind and truly sees life through the eyes of others. But when we actually go to the zoo, well now that is when it gets interesting. Embracing the moments, chasing a quick toddler, racing the sneaker waves, it's all a part of the journey.  Ask yourself this, are you stuck in the mud like a hippo, not really moving forward or are you embracing life and swinging from the trees like the monkeys? Toddlers, Leopards, Gorillas... Oh My!  Love life, live life, and truly be present in each moment!

  • Making a Difference, One Cup at a Time

What do you do when you see someone in need?  Do you pass by? Do you step in? Do you start pouring coffee, serving donuts, and create a Coffee Home for teens? That is exactly what 3 moms did in 2014. We are excited to bring to you an amazing story of resilience, of trust, and of perseverance. Tune in to find out how serving coffee on a trail became Trail Youth Coffee Home a place where teenagers are seen, significance is felt, and labels are removed. • Significant Moments

Today we get to share what it means to lean into your community, to see those around you, and to celebrate the significant moments that take place. In each of our lives we have the opportunity to encourage others to see their gifts, their talents and their abilities. We also have the opportunity to really listen as we engage with those around us and to appreciate each moment as it comes.

  • The Gift of Dogs

When life gives you gifts, sometimes you don't want them, sometimes you give them and sometimes you receive them. Gifts come in all shapes and sizes and sometimes they come tail wiggling, and tongue wagging, with floppy ears and cold noses. We hope you enjoy taking a journey with Clark and Karrie as they discuss what it was like for Clark to receive the gift of freedom and mobility through the gift of a dog and the kindness of a stranger. Hit brew on your coffee pot and join us for Coffee with Clark & Karrie.

  • The Gift of Sight Loss

49 years ago, Clark received a gift and had to determine what to do with it.  Join us as he shares with vivid recall the details of that day, a day that would redirect his life, challenge his faith, and as an 18-year-old shake up everything that he had thought his life would be.  (This episode contains some subject matter that may not be appropriate for young listeners)

  • Welcome!

Well, we did it!  We have dropped our first episode of Coffee with Clark & Karrie. We want to thank you for joining us and hope that you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed creating this for you.  We are not perfect, we don't have all the answers, but we are real, we love to laugh, and we love life and what it has to offer.

Remember, "Our accomplishments in life are not measured by our abilities or disabilities, but rather by our willingness to try!"
