Here’s the thing: I want you to be wealthy.  Because why not:?! More money equals more fun, more opportunity, more impact… all kinds of good, life enriching stuff.  But the unfortunate truth is that I see this ONE thing crop up time and time again and keep women from being wealthy, from earning the kind of money their soul truly desires to earn… so I’m going to share this one thing with you on todays show.  Because I don’t want this to stand in your way. I want you to feel well and truly on your way to wealth.

Oh my days.  I found my journal from October 2017.  The month before I officially launched my business.  Whew was it eye-opening!

There are two relationships in your business that your ultimate success or failure is built on.  These two relationships can provide a solid foundation, supporting and empowering you to achieve, manifest and make happen anything you desire in your business.  Or they can trip you up, get in your way and weigh you down, making success feel hard won at best… impossible at worst.

All too often I see women trying to solve the wrong problems in their businesses.  Because they don’t realise that they are tackling a surface level problem which is really a symptom.  What I know to be true is that if we instead tackle these two relationships, we are getting to the root cause.  I know that when we tend to these two relationships and prioritise them, everything becomes easier in business. Money, freedom, happiness, fulfilment… are all more readily available when these two relationships are working.

Sales.  Selling.  Those two words are enough to give most business owners I know the heebie jeebies.  We can feel SO afraid of feeling pushy or salesy, right? Well, here’s the thing. So here’s the truth my love.  Hitting 6 figures in my business did not make me happy.  When I first set my sights on that goal, I had no business, just a whiff of an idea and a fire in my belly.  I decided that I would feel like a legit business owner if I hit 6 figures. I thought I would feel abundant if I hit 6 figures.  I presumed I would finally feel secure about money if I hit 6 figures.

In summary, at the very start, when I set this goal for myself, I thought that earning 6 figures would make me happy and solve all of my problems.

Spoiler alert: It did not.  

I’m going to tell you about the reality of hitting 6 figures in my business on today’s episode.  But the truth might not be exactly what you think… And I’m sharing the truth today because it realtes to SUCH an important topic.  A topic that could shift your mindset, today and be a total game changer… one that let’s get into this!

When was the last time you made a spending decision in your business?  How did it feel? Did you make it with intention? Or was it a bit of a painful process?  Perhaps there’s something right now that you would love to invest in, you can see the benefit of it… buuut you’re stalling.  

Here’s the thing: if we want to be successful business owners, we need to master the skill of making empowered spending decisions with intention.  That means saying yes, when it is the right thing for us and for our business. And saying no, when that is the right move. But, easier said than done sometimes, right?  Because of that big old bully fear. Who likes to get in our way and push us around and tell us we can’t do things.

On today’s show I want to share with you the 5 step framework I use to make intentional and empowered spending decisions in my business.  The last in particular is going to be the one thing that makes the difference between spending like the boss you are or feeling remorseful because your investment didn’t pan out, or worse feeling remorseful because you failed to take the leap.  I’m also going to share with you the two things that I always readily and happily spend money on… the very two things that have been instrumental in my success. Most of all though, I want you to feel like you have a go-to process for making decisions not based on fear, but based on what is truly going to serve you.

Just over two years ago I was unemployed.  I was jobless and without a plan. I had walked out on the security and benefits of my corporate job in an Investment Bank.  All I knew was that I was done. Done with it feeling hard. Done with sacrificing. Done with struggling. I was so over this idea that we have to compromise as mothers.  Why the hell couldn’t I find a job that paid me well, was flexible and which I enjoyed? Why WAS that too much to ask?

On today’s show I’m sharing with you my story.  How I went from unemployed to the 6 figure business owner I am now.  I’m going to tell you about what felt hard and what felt easy. I’m going let you in on what I feel like was the fundamental piece to turning things around for myself.  Most of all though, I want to share my story to say: this is possible. In fact, anything is possible. I’m hoping that after listening to my story today, you get excited about what is coming next for you in your story.  That you dare to dream and choose to know that you are Limitless.
