Recently, I thought of buying a new elliptical bike as my old bike was outdated. Got a feel as it become so smooth to ride and lost its power. It looks old too. Called the brand sales executive for home inspection to choose a better model on exchange.
He came and suggested a few models after understanding my usage of the same. After an hour, we concluded on a particular model and start exploring the possibilities of exchange. The old bike can bring only a few hundred while I expected few thousand.
Looking at my hesitation, the sales executive offered a solution. It is nothing but to change the belt of my existing bike. It costs me a few hundred and starts performing like a new bike.
Sometimes, it is better to repair than replace. Most of our time will go to align with the latest you bring in.
The existing process comes with the advantages of your comfort and power towards it. I work hard to bring and align all these with my thoughts. It is simple to adapt new things from the outsider's perspective. At work, we look into the problem at hand and need more micro-level correction that can bring in results.
A simple change management impacts work if we believe and stand by it. Here are few thoughts how a small change makes big difference in Business.
