Hello! This is the third episode of our podcast where we are talking about the Constitutional Convention- everything from the Mt. Vernon Conference, the secrecy rule, Patrick Henry's famous "I smelt a rat" quote, and the many committees which made up the Convention. Hope you all enjoy!

In this episode, we go into depth regarding one of the major conflicts in human society: the rights of the individual vs the common good. We discuss how ideas such as the Social Contract and Natural Rights philosophy factored into the creation of the US Constitution, and how those ideals continue to drive how the law functions today!

This first episode is a basic introduction into some of the key players at the 1787 Constitutional Convention (such as George Washington and Patrick Henry), including some fun facts and information about each of them.
