Hey there, my mama friend!
Today's show is all about how to set up your every day for success and joy with tools that produce a natural high you can channel anytime you need it!
What does your morning routine look like? What's the first thing you do? Over 60% of moms say they head straight for the coffee pot to get their morning started. Another 40% say they hop on their phones and scroll through social media or check emails and texts.
More and more, moms are being seen glued to their phones at the bus stop or car pickup line at their child's school, and even while walking into the gym. We've conditioned ourselves to ensure we get our "fix" to start our day, whatever that fix may be. No judgment here because I've been #guilty of this myself and still struggle with it.
However, I have started making some changes in my morning routine that have produced a sense of calm, peace, and control in my day.
In today's show I share a few ways to stimulate your brain naturally, to get your day started on a positive note, improve your health, and allow you to pour into those you love from an overflowing cup rather than an empty one.
*pray/meditate
*yoga/exercise
*go for a walk/jog
*write down some daily goals
*read a book/your Bible
*call or video chat with a friend
*listen to an uplifting podcast
I don't know about you, but I want to create a life I'm naturally excited to wake up to, not one that I need to escape. ~TS
You're welcome to keep the coffee and smartphone, but these tips can help you set up your day in a way that YOU control these elements in your life rather than allowing them to control you!
