Bitterness is like a weed that grows its bitter root in our heart, and it defiles many. The cause of bitterness is unforgiveness. In many families there are deep roots of bitterness because hurts have not been acknowledged and properly dealt with. In this message we’re going to look at the story of a man who was able to forgive against all odds. The man’s name is Joseph.

The goal of this series is to help us to identify the traps Satan sets in our relationships to kill, steal and destroy. But Jesus came to combat Satan’s plans. Jesus promises a new kind of way to live. He called it the Abundant Life. The Abundant Life effects every part of your life, especially your relations. The family unit is foundational to society. As the family goes so does all of society. So, the family unit a prime target for the enemy. This message deals with a family feud and a way to reconciliation.

This weekend, we’re going to learn from a difficult & dysfunctional person called Cain. I think most of us would agree that there’s a little of Cain in all of us – Difficult & Dysfunctional. During a message like this, it’s easy to think of the people who need to hear it. But maybe, this message is for you and me, because sin is always crouching at the door, and we must master it. Jesus’ blood cleanses, covers, protects, empowers, heals my brokenness, and restores my relationships, not just when I get to heaven, but rather, right now in my dysfunction. The blood of Jesus enables me to overcome my own and other people’s dysfunction.

This weekend we kick off a new series entitled – Don’t Take the BAIT. In this message we’re going to look at how the Enemy, Satan uses offences as a trap to cause hurt and brokenness in our relationships and how to overcome these offences.
