Ya bois are back with a full debrief of their expectations & reactions after the historic and monumental halftime show of Super Bowl LVI on 2/13/2022. We discuss hip hop culture as it pertains to The NFL, and we touch on some social and political progress that this once in a lifetime performance means for us. Hope y’all enjoy! ✊🏼✊🏾✊🏿

JMB and Qazi are back to discuss New York winters and the difference in lake effect vs. Atlantic Ocean weather patterns on NYS. Boxing/Kung Fu fighting styles, 90’s hip hop general convo with some top songs from the era playing in the background. Hot coffee was consumed, and an IG live stream was had. Cheers.

JMB and Qazi are back with a Europe trip recap, introductions to hip hop and rap, Qazi reading Raekwon’s new book “From Staircase to Stage”, feeling homesick and how music can help, and forthcoming interviews in 2022; Weather Park and TWO. ‘22 will be a great year for us, y’all! Peace!

In this one JMB and Qazi recap our experience seeing three legends; GZA, Ghostface Killah, and Raekwon! Shout out to ODB’s son, Weather Park, who made an appearance and performed his father’s song, “Shimmy Shimmy Ya”. Enjoy our take on the concert and the level of hype we felt and still feel from the show on 11/19/2021. Peace to the gods.

This is a re-upload of episode 10 without the Spotify music files for our listeners who use other listening platforms. This episode we cover a lot of topics; Qazi’s back injury and MRI, general banter, top Hip Hop songs through the eras from XXL’s 2014 list, and future plans for CBHH! We hope you enjoy this one!

On this episode we had the honor of interviewing Celestè Mitchell, CEO and Founder of Rebelution Music & Media. Celestè is from South Africa and we got to ask her about SA hip hop and culture, how to bridge the gap between USA and SA hip hop scenes, women in hip hop, and much more! Enjoy!

Interview with J. Crum // BLM // Liquid Swords analysis // Thoughts on Island Boy // Why does JMB like Mt. Dew? And more!

Episode 6 features Jacob and Qazi recording live together after 2 months. We’ve got some usual banter about coffee and hip hop and an exclusive interview with up and coming hip hop artist, Flow of Xposure (F.O.X.) from Cape Town, South Africa. Peep his new EP, TrapLogic, available on Apple Music and Spotify.

Jacob and Qazi record a remote episode via Instagram Live video to accompany the audio for this episode. The Live video was interrupted when the Live hit the 60 minute mark before the audio did. Slight hiccup but we’ve got some discussion about our lives currently, the passing of legendary Hip Hop pioneer, Biz Markie, politics, and other randomness. Look out for episode 6, coming in early August!
