Massachusetts appears to be in for a wakeup call later this week as forecasters predict a cold snap of sub-zero temperatures will hit the region Friday into Saturday. Meteorologist Tom Chisholm predicts that due to a high electricity demand load, there is a high chance of blackouts occurring in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, and New Hampshire.
