Colette did some reflecting concerning hurdles in her life and evaluated her life experiences, such as heartaches, disappointments, unhealthy relationships, divorce, emotional and physical abuse, and noticed that majority of her pain was self-inflicted. The pain of her choices forced her to develop a better outlook on how she wanted to receive love overall.
