Leigh (@lshfoster) and Ellie (@elliebrigida) chat with storyteller and producer Elishia K. Constantine (@elishiathegreat) and screenwriter and director Kristina Pupo (@kristinapupo) about the art of collaborgaytion. Elishia and Kristina met at Clexacon in 2019 and quickly realized that they had complementary vibes, goals, and skillsets. Together they created the series Out in Love based on Kristina’s real life experiences. Since then Elishia has founded the independent production company Canon Divergence and is working with Kristina on several projects including a fiction podcast and a feature. We sat down with them to talk about the benefits of collaborating, how to find the right person to team up with, and what their creative journey has been like.
