Professional Wrestler "The Undeniable" Rob Myers joins us this week for an afternoon of shooting lasers, swinging clubs, and excavating childhood trauma. Rob is wonderfully open in this incredibly revealing conversation, where he goes into detail on his extremely difficult childhood - being abandoned at nine months old, sadly seeing himself as a monster growing up, and how being reunited with his mother and meeting a brother he never knew completely changed the direction of his life. We talk his love of horror, how he wants to be the father he never had, and his upcoming road to recovery after a scary seizure. All that, plus air hockey!

Jason Drake is a musician and professional wrestler - a member of the Riot City's Most Wanted stable and the man who broke Adam Cole's record as longest reigning EWA Cruiserweight Champion. He's also a good, everyday dude named Logan Helphenstine - a nature enthusiast who wrestles with anxiety and panic disorder outside of the ring. We met up the day after Logan was in the ER for panic attacks, and found ourselves very reflective on the subject of mental health overall - how our respective anxieties manifest and affect our lives, the importance of public conversation in reducing the stigma around mental health issues, and the changing attitudes and understanding of the issues in stereotypically hyper-masculine spaces.

We also talked about the relationship between physical health and mental health, and our connection as people to the wonders of nature. So it made perfect sense to head out to Boonsboro, MD together so Jason Drake could see an underground cave for the very first time! From stalactites and stalagmites, to an unexpected waterfall, and a very curious Praying Mantis; this week's episode is all about how humanity can make an attraction of the natural world.

But at the heart of this episode is the journey of how one man went from a strictly observant practicing Orthodox Jew to "man who invites me to a pork organ meat festival." My dear friend from college CHANAN BERKOVITS delves into how food, mental health, and religion entwined and separated to lead him towards a life where he wants to try anything and everything there is, including scrapple.
