Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to episode 8 of the collecting dust podcast!

This will be the last collecting dust for a couple weeks as I make a transition on my main youtube channel and figure out what sort of content we want to focus on over there. Gaming is what I am leaning towards, which will also be a big part of collecting dust. It wont be a main focus but will be an additive of what we already talk about.

Today we have some announcements, weekly pickups with my wife, and some news stories to look at!

This week we go over some tubular announcements, and hope right in to Heinous Hobbies where we discuss the pokemon company reprinting the base set charizard in their new 25th anniversary set. I do not know how to feel about it. We have a potential halo infinite release date, and is Disney finally fed up with Kathleen Kennedy? Find out in todays episode!

Welcome to episode 6 of the Collecting Dust podcast!

This week we take a look at my wife and my weekly pickups. We have a lot of Funko related stuff, as well as an action figure that I have purchased. I have not purchased an action figure in like 20 years, but I could not pass this one up.

Heinous Hobbies this week we have 2 news stories, specifically related to some pokemon card crimes.

Then we move over the the weekly rant which is discussing the e3 presser for Halo Infinite. As someone who grew up on Halo 1, 2, and 3, and would consider myself a vet in the Halo franchise, I have to say I am beyond hyped and Halo Infinite looks really good.

On this weeks episode of collecting dust we take a look at the announcements for the week, then instead of doing weekly pickups right away we transition over to the heinous hobbies segment of the episode. It turns out a pokemon card theft ring has been exposed since march, and then our second story is actually a blast from the past and takes a look at all the pokemon card crimes from 1999. You read that right. After HH we move into the weekly rant where I just wanted to rant about fandoms. Specifically The Walking Dead, and Star Wars, maybe a little bit of The Lord of The Rings as well? 

After all that we move over to the weekly pickups where we are joined today by my wife! We take a look at all the funko pops that we bought this week.. spoiler... its a lot.

The heinous hobbies segment today is a good one. Beckett is done with grading for now, ebay has a new trading card policy in favor of sellers of trading cards, and target is now selling pokemon cards again IN STORE!

The interview segment this week will be filled with a rant on card grading companies suspending services, as well as the scalper market and how etailers and comic book shops are even getting in on the "aftermarket" of the pokemon sealed product game. Disgusting. 

Episode 5 we are looking to have a special guest on the show, hopefully that works out!

The interview segment this week, as mentions featured pokemon collector AlreadyBentSlinky, a good friend of mine who does weekly lives on youtube and gives away TONS of pokemon cards.
