  • 31 Days Of Horror Movies List
Every year we try to watch as many horror movies as we can in the month of October, at least 1 per day, and last year we hit over 75 for the entire month. This year, we've decided to challenge ourselves and get you all involved too!
We are going to celebrate Halloween Season by watching 31 movies in October, and record a 10 minute episode discussing each film, with a new episode uploading every day. Its gonna be tough, but we think we can do it! So, this week on the podcast we give you a little preview of it by creating the list for the month.
From Amityville and The Shining to May, Halloween 3, and a ton of flicks in between (as well as some info on a huge virtual film festival we will be involved with during October), we try to hit all of our tastes and create a well-rounded month of horror flicks!

  • Bill And Ted Face The Music
After a short (unscheduled) break, we are back and breaking our rules a little bit this time.. This week we watched the VOD release of Bill And Ted Face the Music, and decided that we wanted to talk about it, so here we are, excellently doing so!
As life-long fans of the Bill and Ted films, we just had to buy it on the release date, and couldn’t help but discuss it in a most outstanding way. Over the past month, both Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey have been on TV fairly regularly, and we’ve watched them both quite a few times.. it was most triumphant.
A word of warning: if you have not seen Face The Music yet, we recommend watching it before listening as we absolutely spoil the hell out of the entire film, including a good portion of the ending. Don’t say we didn’t warn you, duder!
And for those of you wanting to try Bill And Ted’s Most Excellent and Totally Non-Heinous 360 VR Experience we mentioned, here’s the link to it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zI5Bw1dvlWM

  • UNBOXING! MVD Entertainment
This week, we debut our new bonus episode series: Unboxing!
We still order new DVDs and Blurays fairly regularly, so we thought that since we have a tendency to forget things we bought, we would take the time to sit and go through the orders that come in, and discuss with each other the films we buy. Maybe it will help us decide on future watch-nights a bit easier..
So, with our first unboxing episodes, we discuss an order we made in April from MVD, consisting mostly of the American Guinea Pig series and a few other “extreme” horror blu-rays, as well as some “Unearthed Classics.”

About Collection Resurrection

From the publisher's feed

We own a lot of movies, and we don’t always watch them all immediately. So, we are attempting to remedy that by picking a different movie from our home media collection that we have yet to open the packaging on. Some we’ve seen, some we haven’t, but rest assured with over 1000 DVDs and Blu Rays in our collection, and 90% of them being either Horror, Thriller, Action, Cult, or Sci-Fi, we’re always bound to watch something interesting!
