The holiday season can bring about some unwanted emotions for many. Some of us might feel lonely, anxious, hurt, sad, or hurried. Throughout his life, we see in scripture that Jesus expressed real-life emotions. Frustration, anger, agony, sorrow, and joy are just a few we find in scripture. Hebrews 4:15 tell us that "...we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses." So, what we want to do throughout this series is to practice taking our emotions before the Lord first. We want to learn to untangle our emotions from a biblical perspective and we will do that by examining the emotions of Jesus.
