Our church's mission is the basis for this sermon series, Knowing God and Making Him Known.  It is an impossible mission without God's Holy Spirit.  At some point, we're all guilty of doubting that the Holy Spirit can work in and through us as he does in others.  In the first few chapters of Acts, we see how mightly the Holy Spirit was working through the people of the church.  What we fail to remember is that the same power and promises that were available to the believers in Acts 1 & 2 are available to us.  

Most people love a miracle story.  Miracles move people to express emotion, excitement, clap, and cheer.  Your salvation is a miracle! When we repent our sin and believe in the Gospel, confessing Jesus as our Lord, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit begin a miraculous work in you.  What makes salvation a miracle?  In today's message, we'll present three reasons why our salvation is a miracle.

There is spiritual warfare going on around us.  We need to be aware of how the enemy is at work and be able to employ the spiritual tactics that Jesus has given us to overcome this battle.  So we're spending four weeks studying Ephesians 6:12. This week we're wrapping up this series with how important prayer is in this battle.  It is a vital part of our "fight."  In this message, we'll look at four important reasons, among others, why we must communicate with God through prayer when it comes to spiritual warfare.

There is spiritual warfare going on around us.  We need to be aware of how the enemy is at work and be able to employ the spiritual tactics that Jesus has given us to overcome this battle.  So we're spending four weeks studying Ephesians 6:12.  In Chapter 6 of Ephesians, Paul tells us to "stand firm."  How do we stand firm.  What biblical truths help us to stand firm and how do exactly to "put on our armor?"  

At the beginning of 1 Corinthians 12, Paul tells the church that he does not want them to be "ignorant of spiritual gifts."  There is importance in learning and using our gifting.  Today in part three of our message series "Difference Makers" we'll be looking at the lists of spiritual gifts that the bible lists.  As well as, common spiritual gift "myths."  

We're in our fourth and final part of the "Difference Maker" message series.  We believe that within each and every one of us there is a built in desire to make a difference, to live with purpose.  We know this because our Creator has made us to be difference makers.  God has uniquely shaped you to make a difference.
