  • Episode 21 Collective Conversations | Talking Property with Harry & Andrew

Life of a commercial real estate agent as Colliers International is a hectic one, and it is usually food on the run.

However, for Andrew Chrapot and Harry Larwill they have managed to make all the traveling to sites in Melbourne's south east a positive, in sampling the local fare.

Andrew likes to refer to Tripadvisor to source a new place to eat while Harry has a few favourites.

So when I sat down to have a chat with Andrew and Harry about commercial trends I thought we'd also divert to some food recommendations. And away from Becco, Coda and Tonka, they also rate Oasis, Pings Dumplings, and Marko's Schnitzels.

Join us on a culinary journey through Melbourne's south east, CBD for some tips on where to find authentic dishes and they also let us into their own cooking styles at home!

  • Episode 16 Collective Conversations | Talking Property with Marc Pallisco

Find out about Chris Tarrant, Dustin Fletcher, Levi Greenwood, Brodie Holland,Frank Costa, Suzanne Cleary, Christopher Doyle, Jason Donovan, Julia Gillard, and the Monster Truck Loving Sheikh among others.

Chris Tarrant in Toorak - Former Collingwood and Fremantle footballer Chris Tarrant is our latest celebrity listing. Chris – who retired from AFL in 2012 – with his wife Lauren, who is an interior designer, have been renovating prestige homes for the past few years. A Toorak property listed this week is their sixth project. The pair paid $3.65 million for the home at 17 Glen Road just last May. It’s since undergone a full renovation – the inside was gutted. A lot of work has been done on an outdoor entertainment area and garden, too. Its expecting $4.9-$5.2 million now. RT Edgar is managing an expressions of interest campaign for this one.

The Costa’s family’s landmark home in Newtown has hit the market asking $6.1 million, which would be a record for Geelong. Geelong businessman Frank Costa sold the Newtown house to his daughter in about 2011. It was at this home where Mr Costa and his wife Shirley raised their eight daughters.

Rosebud farm acquired by failed developer Steller for $7 million in 2016 has sold for $4.65 million. Both prices are records (Rosebud’s next most valuable deal was $3.85 million for 15 Herman Street last year) Steller’s site at 310-330 Jetty Road sold via a Mortagee in Possession auction last week, attended by about 80 people. James Crowder of Community Real Estate marketed the farm as a lifestyle property.

Monster truck loving billionaire sheikh has sold a Northern Territory farm for $10.1 million. It was bought by a neighbour. It had a reserve of $7 million. The property is one of the largest I’ve ever written about – 462,800-odd hectares. The image I am running is from a helicopter tour, which prospective buyers would have had to have taken. The vendor was oil industry billionare sheikh Hamad bid Hamdan Al Nahyah. He is said to have one of the five best garages in the world.
