This past Sunday we began our brand new series on relationships titled: Love is in the Air. For the first sermon in the series, Pastor Nick touches on emotional baggage and how giving it to Jesus is centered on the idea that as we run the race of faith, we carry with us burdens and obstacles that weigh us down and hinder our progress. These burdens may take the form of past hurts, anxieties, fears, and regrets, but through faith in Jesus Christ, we can find release from them.

Jesus doesn’t just tell us right and wrong when we follow him: when we accept the reality of Jesus as King over our lives, we adopt all of his kingdom values.

Jesus does not simply become our lawmaker to help us NOT TO SIN

But our guide, our expert, and example on how to live life well as human

How our relationship should be with Body image, our understanding of sexuality, what the point of money is in our lives

It is not simply a system of right and wrong
