The guys discuss the tremendous defense played by San Diego State, as they kayoed Bama in Louisville, including stifling the Tide in the entire second half. How and why did it happen? Mike and Jason give the insight.

Now, it's the Aztecs and the Creighton Blue Jays on Sunday night. This as they ended the magical run of Princeton with a decisive double digit win in the other South Regional game.

Next up is some discussion on how Miami took out the other remaining 1 seed, Houston with another great performance. The Canes put 89 points on the board to overwhelm what's been the best defensive program in college hoops the last three years. Now, Miami will play the 2nd seeded Texas Longhorns on Sunday night for a spot in the Final Four. Texas was too good in wiping out Xavier on Friday night in the other game in K.C. and now will play the Canes for a chance a the Final Four for the first time in 20 years. Miami has never been.

The boys conclude by previewing K-State and Florida Atlantic battling in NYC for a Final Four sport out of the East and then, it's a tremendous matchup with 2 seed Gonzaga and 4th seed UConn in Vegas for the West Regional final.

It's the first time ever that we don't have any 1 seeds in the Elite 8, much less in the Final Four!

What a wild opening night of the Sweet 16, as not one, but two, of the games were crazy, nail-biting contests that saw K-State and Gonzaga emerge as winners and keep their Final Four hopes alive. And, we cover all of it on "College Basketball Coast to Coast!"

Rives is back with guests, Ari Russell, who was in the Garden for the epic K-State vs. Michigan State showdown, which lived up to eerything and then some, as Markquis Nowell of the Wildcats put on a performance with points, assists, steals and big shots that's been seldom scene at the NCAA tourney level. They discuss that and how 9 seed Florida Atlantic rallied in the second half to beat Tennessee in the other NYC matchup. Now, the Owls at 34 wins march on to play Kansas State in the Final Four.

Then, we go West to T.C. Martin and "the doctor" gives us tremendous insight on the battle between UCLA and Gonzaga won by the Zags. T.C. was there for the Gonzaga big second half surge led by Drew Timme, only to see UCLA behind Jaime Jacquez come back to get close Then, eventually after the Bruins took the lead on a three pointer, it was Julian Strawther who made the winning three point bomb to help the Zags to advance.

Finially, T.J. takes the quick look ahead to Friday's games with Bama playing San Diego St. in Louisville and Creighton against Providence in the late game. Meanwhile, in K.C., top seed Houston battles Miami, while Texas takes on Xavier for spots in the Elite 8.
