Soberoso "Sharing Our Passion For Recovery"

College Drinking & Sobriety

Listen Later

ep -63 College Drinking & Sobriety With Will Black in Denver Colorado.

Will started drinking to fit in when he was in college at the age of 18 which gave him a sense of belonging.  He experienced depression and anxiety in his teens which led to feeling socially awkward and not accepted.

Will knew it was a problem as he literally started blacking out right from the start and even heavy drinking strangers started telling him that maybe drinking wasn't for him. After trying to control his drinking, blackouts and repeated patterns of embarrassment with no success he finally got to the point where he could not continue.

He got sober just before his 24th birthday and just celebrated 3 years of sobriety. Listen now to hear Wills story.
