Today, we look at the birth of Moses. He was born at a most inopportune time; Pharaoh had ordered the death of every new born male Hebrews. However, God intervened and gave Moses' parents the wisdom they needed to disarm the Foe.

Today, we see how the promise of God is passed down to the next generation. How that vision is passed on, by those who believe in those promises. God was creating a nation, which begins with an individual, progresses to a tribal level and to a nation. All of this was accepted by faith by men.

Looking again at the 11th chapter and verse 20, "By faith Isaac invoked future blessings on Jacob and Esau." In one little verse we discover that God compacted so much dynamite. The symbolic picture of two peoples. The people of this world and the people of God.

Today, we examine how God will test those who follow him. The question the test answers is will we trust God with the most sacred things of our life. As we study today we notice how God tested Abraham by asking Abraham to sacrifice the very son God had promised to Abraham and Sarah near the beginning of their relationship with HIM.

Today, we examine verses 13-16 in the 11th chapter of Hebrews. The text tells us that those who lived by faith did three things, They died even though they had not received the promise. Second, they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. Third, they lived as aliens and strangers on this earth. Looking at the promises of God we discover that those promises were much larger than these people initially understood them to be.

In today's message we continue to examine the Faith Hall of Fame and those who are listed in the 11th chapter of Hebrews. Today, we consider Abraham and Sarah and how and why it is that God enabled them to have the promise Son--even though both of them were well past child bearing years. We discover that the Great Promises of God are promises that we all must wait for.

Today, we look at Abraham from the perspective of the 11th chapter of Hebrews. We discover that Faith is based on something more solid than just a dream, or hope but on the very Words of God.

Today, as we examine Hebrews the 11th chapter we come across a name that we all recognize...Noah. In one verse we are told of this great man of faith and how it is that by his faith he was moved to build the ark and thus save his family from coming judgement.

Today, we examine Hebrews chapter 11, verses 4-6. In what is known as the 'Faith Hall of Fame" we discover two men who were commended for their faith. Able and the mysterious man called Enoch. Both were known for their faith. One was killed by his brother and the other did not taste death. Both were men who pleased God. We discover today that our own identity is given meaning and discovered as we find God by faith.

Guest speaker Dave Cordel examines five areas that cover God's idea of Stewardship. As it turns out it has very little to do with money and resources and more to do with God's resources and grace. In fact, it has more to do with giving away what God has first given to us.
