In the background of a great pagan city Jesus asks two great questions to his disciples. As we discover today--every man and woman, boy and girl must answer these questions. The way we answer them determines where we spend eternity.

Mark records one miracle that the other Gospel writers do not. We look at the seven steps that Jesus takes to heal the man in our text and how that applies to us today.

As we work our way through the gospel of Mark...we come to a place where Jesus confronts people who work hard to please God and yet, tells them their hearts are far from God. Are you tired of trying to be good enough? Are you tired of carrying a heavy load? Perhaps you are doing what Jesus has already finished on the cross.

As we come to a close of Mark chapter 6 we see Jesus stop at the region of Gennesaret, which was a gathering place for the sick and invalid...though the people came to Jesus because they were hoping to be healed or have loved ones healed. Though their faith was imperfect Jesus honored it and many were healed. They came to the Lord and that made them accountable for the light they had witnessed.
