Carriker is much higher on this Nebraska team than other pundits, for objective reasons. He and I are aligned on offensive line coach Geep Wade improving Nebraska's offensive line, the Blackshirt defense stepping up under new defensive coordinator Rob Aurich, and that Anthony Colandrea has high upside.

Carriker predicts that Nebraska will pick off one of the Washington Huskies and Iowa Hawkeyes, but needs to see more before picking Nebraska to go toe-to-toe with the Indiana Hoosiers, Ohio State Buckeyes, or Oregon Ducks. 6-6 is the floor, and 9-3 is the ceiling.
