ROCHESTER — Minnesota West Community & Technical College softball player Kya Alderson has been named to the 2025 Division III All-Region 13 team. The National Junior College Athletic Association made the announcement on Monday, June 2. Coaches from the Minnesota College Athletic Conference and independent schools selected the team. Alderson, a former standout at Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, saw time as pitcher, shortstop and leftfielder this season for the Bluejays. Teammates Faith Kazemba (third base, catcher) and Hannah Kazemba (shortstop, pitcher) also were selected. Minnesota West finished with an 11-8 overall record, including 8-4 in conference games.
