COLLEGE SPOTLIGHT: Borman having an impact at DSU

MADISON, S.D. — Pipestone Area Schools graduate Rysley Borman is a freshman on the men’s basketball team at Dakota State University. Borman, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound guard, has made an impact on the Trojans. This season, Borman has played 272 minutes with 93 points, 34 rebounds, 26 assists and five steals for Dakota State. The Trojans have an 11-12 record, including 4-7 in the North Star Athletic Association. This past Friday, Dakota State topped Bellevue (Neb.), 66-64, and Borman canned a season-high three 3-pointers in the victory.
