COLLEGE SPOTLIGHT: Nelson, Bluejays play for national title

WORTHINGTON — Minnesota West Community & Technical College volleyball player Ally Nelson will be returning to a familiar scene later this week. The Bluejays have qualified for the NJCAA Division III tournament, where they finished second in the nation to Dallas, Texas-based Eastfield College in 2024. Matches are conducted at Alliant Energy Powerhouse Arena in Cedar Rapids. Minnesota West faces Monroe University-Bronx (N.Y.) in the opening round at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13.
