SIOUX CENTER, Iowa — Three Southwest Minnesota Christian graduates are currently members of the Dordt University cheerleading squad. Taylor DeBoer is a sophomore majoring in secondary education with an emphasis on English. Annika Dyk is a freshman enrolled in Dordt’s nursing program. Vivian Dyk, Annika’s older sister, a sophomore studying both international business and graphic design. Vivian Dyk and DeBoer both cheered for SWC for six years under the direction of cheer coach/sponsor Tricia Tinklenberg. Dordt cheerleaders receive a partial scholarship.
