College@12Stone

As 12Stone Church embarks upon the Great & Awesome vision of expanding the Kingdom, we examine how C12 can join the movement. It's time to stop being about ME and start being about WE. WE can make an impact in this community and this generation, just like Nehemiah did. We're all inclusive, not exclusive.

Speaker: Matt Hayes

Scripture: Nehemiah 1-4

Scripture: Luke 10

God granted you specific gifts and talents, and he's writing a future specifically for you. Do you trust him with it, or do you tend to compare yourself to other people's potential stories? Teddy Roosevelt says, 'Comparison is the thief of joy.' Can you find current joy in resolving to trust God for your future?

Scripture: Daniel 1:1-8, Matthew 6:24-34

Daniel resolved 'not to defile himself' in Daniel 1:8. This measure of faith led to God's favor. Are you compromising your faith with a lack of resolve in your purity? And we're talking more than sex; it's an entire lifestyle. Be set apart.

Speaker: Matt Hayes

Scripture: Daniel 1:1-20, Psalm 119:9-16

Are you primarily an influence to others, or influenced by others? Everyone can make an impact, but resolve is needed to make sure it's in the best capacity. 'Wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it. Right is right even if no one is doing it.'

Speaker: Matt Hayes

Scripture: Daniel 1

It's always fun to actually ask the questions that are stirring. We spend an evening hearing your questions and answering them, with a lot of fun and laughs through the dialogue.

Speakers: Travis Billman, Trey Hildebrant, Kevin Monahan, and Matt Hayes

Let's tackle doubt. When you don't trust God doubt creeps in, and you stop asking God questions and begin questioning God. So, do you trust God?

Speaker: Matt Hayes

Scripture: Psalm 88

Contrary to what the world may say, asking God questions is a good thing. It's a good practice, and a core piece to growing your faith. What happens when you start asking God questions?

Matt Hayes talks about sex, dating and relationships from a girl's perspective. 'Don't be desperate; be determined.' Proverbs 31.
