I CAN'T HELP IT, THE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS ARE GETTING HARDER AND HARDER TO ANSWER!
What do you do when your friend comes to you and asks, "Have you heard about a pulse of energy that's going to hit our Heliosphere?” What is going to happen to me?
One day it's the Heliosphere, the next day it's a comet. I never know exactly where the question is going to come from, but I know the questions will come. I t's my job to take those questions and make some sense out of what we know and who we can trust as credible resources of knowledge about space and physics and reality and not. People actually live in a different dimension while living right here on Earth, believe me.
So yesterday it was Perihelion Day. When the Earth is closest to the Sun in its orbit. Today, we're supposed to be hit be a pulse of energy way out at the edge of the heliosphere. I cannot confirm that because I cannot confirm the person who is doing the reporting is actually qualified to report on the matter. I have asked for him to reach out to me for a chance to tell me what he sees as important and happening in the near future.
We also have C/2022 E3 (ZTF) "no name??" in the northern skies. right now, it only creeps up to 17-degrees above the horizon... sometimes it's on 4-degrees. It makes it very hard to observe at this time. BUT! At the end of January and into February (close approach) those above the equator will have a great shot at seeing it without the aid of telescopes or binoculars.
Tonight, I have an interview scheduled with a very interesting guy from the East Coast who has been dealing with high-end, high-tech programs, products, and rollouts of technology the public has no idea exists!
