In this episode Danny is missing, Corey tells a story, and Jeff continues to provide subtle wisdom, all while we discuss how to practically apply his book in a ministerial setting.

On this week's episode we take it back to one of the earlier sessions we did back in August. We discuss sermon writing when it's hard, when the text, or the topic stirs something in us that we don't like, something that we might find difficult to preach on, maybe it's a section describing violence enacted by God, or something similar. What do we do? How do we approach it? Corey, Danny, and Jeff share their thoughts and try to get a different perspective on the issue.

Melanie is currently serving in the Upper New York Conference of the UMC and is on the show to talk to us about her expereience as a foster parent and as a pastor.
