After the murder of eight people including six Asian women in Atlanta, Beth calls Andrew to talk about how he's feeling in the immediate aftermath.

Things we DIDN'T mention (but would have after more processing and as more facts came out): that this was an act of racist AND sexist violence, the history of white supremacy treating Asian women's bodies as subjects of white dominance, the infuriating response from George officials...

We'll have a broader conversation about violence against AAPI soon, but in the meantime, enjoy this short chat. We're back to our regular schedule this coming Sunday.
