Colorado, Colorado State set for epic showdown at Moby Arena in nonconference game both teams need to win (with DNVR's Justin Michael) | Episode 51
Tyler King is joined once again by Justin Michael from DNVR for a preview of Saturday's Rocky Mountain Showdown on the hardwood!
Coming off a pair of important wins over Wichita State and South Florida in the Bahamas, Colorado State (6-2) plays host to unbeaten Colorado (8-0) in front of a sold-out crowd at Moby Arena at 3 p.m. on CBSSN.
It's the first time the two programs have met in Fort Collins since the instant classic two seasons ago that featured two teams that went on to win games in the NCAA Tournament and multiple players now in the NBA. Just two players from that game in 2023 remain as a pair of new-look squads will face off in an important nonconference game that both feel like they need to win to boost their March Madness resumes.
