Colorado DOT number

Colorado DOT Number.

An INTERSTATE commercial motor vehicle is any self-propelled or towed vehicle with a gross weight of over 10,000 pounds that is used for certain passenger and cargo transportation purposes. Examples include those designed to carry more than 8 passengers (without compensation) or hazardous materials in amounts necessitating placards when driven on public roads as part of an organization's business activities in Colorado.

If your vehicle has a gross weight of 10,001 lbs or more and is used for business purposes (farming included) you need to get it registered as commercial. However, farmers who own vehicles weighing less than 26,000lbs are exempt from this requirement. To display the USDOT authority number and operator information on their power unit they must include: legal name such as Farms followed by city/state(Ft Morgan CO), "USDOT Number" along with its respective federal identification number clearly visible at 50 feet away in daylight hours-both sides!

We offer full trucking authority packages to make the launching of your trucking company business go more smoothly. The Department of Transportation regulates safety so doing it right in the begging is very important.
