Often we get discouraged and give up praying. Often we don’t even know how to pray or what to pray for people for whom we are concerned. In addition to that, we struggle to even know what to pray for ourselves. Paul prays an interesting prayer in Colossians 1:9-14, our text we will consider this coming Sunday morning. Take a few minutes to read the text and pray along with Paul. We will be challenged by the Word to continue in prayer, praying that “you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing him." Prayer changes things. Prayer changes us!
