We’re in Isaiah for our communion Sundays, focusing on the prophecies of the Messiah, the Christ. Isaiah has so much to say about Jesus! Read these verses in Isaiah 12.
“And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. “Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.” Isaiah 12:4-6.
What has motivated Isaiah’s overwhelming joy and praise and thanksgiving? That’s a great question. As we study Isaiah 11 together on Sunday morning we will be led to heartfelt praise to God when we comprehend His glorious plan for the Messiah.
