This week we are starting off a new series going through Paul's letter to the church in Colossae, the book of Colossians. This young gospel community was faithful and receptive to the gospel, but was tempted to adopt aspects of other religions and world philosophies and combine them with the teachings of Jesus… a temptation remarkably similar to the ones we face today. In this letter, Paul exhorts the church to walk faithfully in the ways of Christ, and Christ alone. In this second message of the series, Speaker and pastor Stephy Nobles Beans teaches out of Colossians 1:15-20.
