Paul continues to address the four results of being made alive together with Christ. The third result is the canceling out of “certificate of debt” against us. The fourth result is that the debt is nailed to the cross. The power of the cross is seen in the disarming of the “rulers and authorities.” Paul says that it was by the cross of Christ that the triumph came.
