Paul includes a very strong warning statement at the end of chapter three about God’s judgment on those who do evil. For those outside of Jesus Christ the judgment is unavoidable, impartial, and consequential. Paul then goes on in chapter four to give the final “role” instruction. His teaching to “masters” (and all who are in similar authority positions) actually revolves around the Golden Rule. In verse two we begin to look at look four important points about prayer.
