The New Testament book of Colossians is written to followers of Jesus living in the town of Colossae, a part of the Roman Empire. Colossae was known as a place of religious pluralism including emperor worship. How did these early Christians follow Jesus in that setting, and what can we learn about following Jesus in the midst of our own religious pluralistic society?
