The most famous of rescues, the Exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt, dates back to the 1400s bc which is way before our civilization ever was thought of. However, there is still a significance of this rescue from captivity and we have our rescue through the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We were destined for eternal death, but by this perfect sacrifice, we have joy in the rescue of our souls.
