Columbus Cast

Join us in this weeks discussion about Columbus Hawaiian food (hint: it’s really good), thrift stores and vaccine news!

It's 2021 and we're living in a crazy world. Both the good and the bad, you can hear it here, on Columbus Cast. Happy New Year everyone!

Thank you so much for supporting us for 50 episodes! As a way to celebrate our 50th episode, we put together a special edition of the Columbus Cast exclusively for your ears about 50 amazing reasons why we love this city. We decided that Columbus is the "Trader Joe's" of cities, because it's not too big, there are just the right amount of choices to make here, it's not too expensive, and it's really trendy. Thanks to our friends at Platform Brewing for helping us get all the way to 50.

We've officially lost it. How are you doing? Please enjoy this week's random assortment of our thoughts of Columbus.

This past weekend was full of a lot of victories. We're referring to the Buckeyes and the Crew of course! Tune in this week to get your fill of Laura speculating about sports (does she really know what she's talking about?). If you haven't already, follow us on instagram @cbuscast and email us at [email protected] to tell us your FAVORITE sushi place in the entire city!

Did you think with the sun setting earlier and the weather cooling down that things in Columbus were starting to slow? Well you're wrong! There are lots of awesome events in-person and virtual coming up for you to partake in. As always, wear a mask, social distance, wash your hands and have fun! There may or may-not be an easter egg at the end of this episode for those who make it all the way to the end. You're welcome.

Urban Meyer is back?

Per usual, lots of beer talk this week. But also, lots of exciting things happening this weekend so make sure to mask up and get out there before OSU  football is back and the weather gets colder.

Snow days and trick-or-treat are the latest casualties of 2020 but the good news is you can now order food at restaurants/bars after 10pm! Julia and Laura also talk about some cool things local businesses in Columbus are up to, a little politics and of course alcohol.

We think local elections are so important we stumbled our way through our sample ballots to bring you the important information on this year's ticket. We *tried* to keep it unbiased! Enjoy, and if you're voting, thanks for doing your civic duty.
