Weather Report Script for Columbus, Ohio

Good morning, Columbus! Your local meteorologist here with today's wild weather ride.

Today's forecast is bringing us a mostly sunny day with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 57 degrees Fahrenheit. But hold onto your hats, folks! We've got some serious wind action brewing. Expect southwest winds starting at 5 to 15 miles per hour, ramping up to 15 to 25 miles per hour in the afternoon. Some gusts could blast through at up to 44 miles per hour - so maybe don't wear your favorite lightweight hat today!

Tonight, things cool down dramatically. We're looking at mostly cloudy skies and temperatures dropping to around 29 degrees Fahrenheit. Those southwest winds will shift to northwest after midnight, with gusts up to 30 miles per hour.

Saturday brings a slight chance of snow showers with a high near 33 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect mostly cloudy conditions and northwest winds around 15 miles per hour.

The weekend continues with Sunday looking sunny and calm, with a high of 34 degrees Fahrenheit and light west winds.

By Monday, we'll see mostly sunny skies and temperatures climbing to 44 degrees Fahrenheit.

Tuesday and Wednesday are looking wet, with a 40 to 90 percent chance of showers and temperatures reaching up to 62 degrees Fahrenheit. So grab those umbrellas and rain jackets!
