Good morning, weather watchers! Let's dive into today's forecast for the Columbus area.

We're looking at a day that's keeping us on our toes. This afternoon, we've got a slight chance of showers rolling in after 1 pm. Expect mostly cloudy skies with temperatures climbing to a crisp 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be dancing in from the southwest at 5 to 8 miles per hour. There's only a 20 percent chance of precipitation, so don't cancel your plans just yet!

Tonight gets a bit more interesting. We're expecting rain showers before 2 am, which might transition to a few sneaky snow showers between 2 and 4 am. Temperatures will dip down to around 31 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind will start from the south and then do a little switcheroo to the north after midnight.

Saturday brings some good news - mostly sunny skies with a high near 43 degrees Fahrenheit and north winds at 8 to 10 miles per hour. Saturday night looks clear and cool, dropping to around 30 degrees.

Sunday is shaping up to be a beauty - sunny with temperatures reaching a pleasant 53 degrees Fahrenheit. Monday continues the trend with sunny skies and temperatures climbing to 61 degrees.

Tuesday and Wednesday look absolutely gorgeous, with sunny to partly sunny conditions and temperatures hitting a delightful 68 degrees Fahrenheit. However, by Wednesday night, we might see some rain moving in, with a 50 percent chance of precipitation.

Looking ahead to Thursday, expect a continued chance of rain with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures around 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
