Good morning, Columbus! I'm your friendly neighborhood meteorologist with today's weather scoop.

Get ready for a gorgeous day! We're looking at pure sunshine with temperatures climbing to a delightful 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Those southern winds will be dancing around at 9 to 15 miles per hour, giving us just the right amount of breeze to keep things comfortable.

Tonight, things are going to take a bit of a turn. We're expecting mostly cloudy skies with temperatures dropping down to a chilly 36 degrees Fahrenheit. Those northwest winds will be gentle, around 6 to 11 miles per hour, before switching to a northeast direction later in the evening.

Looking ahead to Wednesday, expect partly sunny skies with a high near 63 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be light and playful, starting from the east at 5 to 8 miles per hour before going completely calm in the afternoon.

Thursday brings another pleasant day with partly sunny conditions and temperatures rising to a warm 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Light and variable winds will keep things interesting.

The weekend looks like it might bring some rain. Saturday has a 70 percent chance of showers, with temperatures peaking around 75 degrees Fahrenheit. It'll be a bit breezy, so keep that umbrella handy!

Sunday shows a slight chance of showers with partly sunny skies and a high near 58 degrees Fahrenheit.
