Thomas Jefferson stated in the Declaration of Independence, "We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." Scripture tells us that God creates us in our mother's womb by forming the inward parts of our body—knitting us in the womb (Psalm 139:13). If we are "created equal" and "endowed by our Creator with unalienable rights" of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness"; if we are created in our mother's womb and not at birth, then it is in the womb that one ought to have unalienable rights for life.
