The real question here is whether or not Anthony Joshua can beat Oleksander Usyk.  If he does, it will be the second time he's made such a comeback - but the odds are stacked HUGE against him.

Tomorrow is when we get to see where Teofimo's head is at as he enters 140 as a potential challenger.

Also, Tevin Farmer looks to rebuild momentum after a loss and a significant layoff due to the pandemic.

We need to see where Cobbs' head is at after the knockout loss to Rocha - plus he has a new team, which sometimes is good and sometimes isn't.

Everyone thinks it's a given that Cobbs knocks out Mo - we don't think it'll be that easy.

Plus, the return of Vergil Ortiz in the fight that was supposed to happen before - but we don't know what Ortiz's physical state is like now.  He is lined up as mandatory for both Spence and Crawford - but if he loses to McKinson (who isn't highly ranked at all)...

Open question is how Danny 'Swift' will react to 154 when his power never really carried up to 147; but Jose Benavidez' leg is his biggest weak point.

Gary Antuanne Russell feels like the highlight of this weekend, and we encourage anyone who's a fan to check out his fight.  He is to us what others see in Boots - doesn't need to be flashy, just effective and not hitting people behind the head for stoppages.

In a title eliminator, two guys who recently lost to Emmanuel Navarrete are squaring off.

Isaac Dogboe at one point appeared to be en route to something special with his shock of Jessie Magdaleno (who shocked Nonito Donaire).

We think that Joet Gonzalez's losses (Shakur and Navarette) were less damaging, as Dogboe appears to have lost motivation since the Navarette losses.

As Garcia makes his return we have to see where he's at - because his peers have largely left him behind in terms of making a name for themselves.  He has largely benefitted from a good level of promotion as well as his Instagram account, rather than accomplishments inside the ring at a championship level.

This week's events, both weekend and next week, will help us see who's going to move forward and who gets left behind, ultimately.

We suspected that Vargas was arguably the better fighter but might fight the wrong fight.

He fought a very good fight - getting dropped at one point due to coming in at the wrong time, but he ultimately fought to win - and it paid off.

Hopefully, we'll see some excitement with the fights this weekend.  Magsayo has a lot to prove - whether his win over Mr. Gary Russell Jr. was a fluke or he's legit remains to be seen.

We saw something in Opetaia...and although it wasn't the outcome we expected, his performance was excellent.

It was every bit the test we were hoping for, to test Breidis as the heir apparent.

Breidis has nothing to be ashamed of, as he fought well, but ultimately was beaten by the younger, fresher fighter.

A fairly light weekend of boxing compared to previous, more for the international fans.

A decently good test for Mairis Breidis, who has recently been trying (and failing) to call out Jake Paul.  Opetaia may very well make it a short night.
