 Episode nine of Combust Astrology, joined by my student and friend Kakada. We dig deep into their Aquarius Moon, conjunct Saturn and squaring Pluto, sitting right in the middle of a huge Leo stellium (Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter). We talk about what it's like to have that constant pull between wanting the spotlight and needing to disappear, why fame and popularity feel different when Pluto's involved, and how Kakada is learning to let themselves feel joy without needing permission first. I get into my whole "Leo as a flashlight in a dark cave" analogy, we talk through the Leo-Scorpio square and why those two signs orbit each other the way they do, and Kakada closes it out with a really sweet message for anyone with an Aquarius Moon of their own.

 Released after episode seven by mistake (oops), but it actually sets up that episode nicely. This one's all about Scorpio season, Halloween, and the upcoming Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius. I get into the actual origins of Halloween (Samhain, Celtic New Year, the whole history), then connect it to Scorpio's whole theme of transformation and taking off the mask to show your true self. I break down what that looks like across Scorpio placements, tie in Ophiuchus and the symbolism of Sagittarius, and talk about why this Mercury retrograde is going to ask you to slow down before you go full speed into everything Jupiter and Sagittarius want to give you. I also start every episode now with a quick breathing exercise, so there's a timestamp if you want to skip that. 

Covering what I'm calling the "Winter Arc" of 2025, the whole run of retrogrades from October through March of next year and what they mean for the collective. I walk through this year's retrogrades and eclipses, why Saturn and Neptune moving back into Pisces matters, and why Virgo placements especially are getting hit hardest. First, a personal life update reflecting on my solar return year with Moon in Leo in the 10th house, and everything that came with it: getting into bodybuilding, becoming way more public with content and social media, dating and friendships shifting hard under Uranus in Taurus, a couple of wild real life events with my car, and finally finding my wife. Second half, I get into the actual astrology and break down aspects to the sun. What it means to have your sun in each house, how conjunctions, trines, squares, and oppositions all show up differently, and how I read my own sun aspects including Uranus, Chiron, and my midheaven. Long one, but a good mix of personal and technical. 

 Episode four of Combust Astrology, and my first ever guest: my wife. We talk about the third house and how it shapes the way you communicate, then get into what the sun actually represents in a chart and why the moon is where real connection happens. She asks me questions as someone still learning astrology, which turns into a good conversation about what it's actually like to be around this stuff every day and start believing in it. We also get into what it's like doing readings, why I record and save reading videos for clients, and the whole idea of reassurance and why people come back to hear it from me directly instead of just re-watching. A shorter, more personal episode this time. 

This one's a deep dive into Pluto and the outer planets, how they shape entire generations, and how that plays out in your own chart too. I go generation by generation starting with Pluto in Cancer all the way through where we are now with Pluto in Aquarius, talking about millennials getting the short end of the stick with Pluto in Scorpio, why boomers had it easy with Pluto in Leo, the 2008 financial crash, and what's coming next as we move deeper into Pluto in Aquarius. This one gets into some heavier territory around generational trauma, capitalism, and where we're headed as a collective. Long one, but worth it if you want the bigger picture view of astrology.
