When life feels chaotic and out of control, where do you turn first?
Yesterday at New Promise Church we looked at Mark 5 and were reminded that the chaos we face is not outside of Jesus’ authority. In one chapter we see Him confront three things that often make people feel helpless: spiritual oppression, disease, and even death itself.
A man possessed by demons was restored.
A woman suffering for twelve years was healed.
A little girl who had died was raised back to life.
Each story reminds us of the same truth: no situation is beyond the authority of Jesus.
When the world feels overwhelming, when the diagnosis is frightening, when grief seems final—Jesus still has the final word. Because of the cross and the resurrection, the chaos around us does not have the last say. Christ does.
